Cartagena is a city with over three millennia of history. A historic and artistic jewel. A modern city open to the Mediterranean. The city invites you to discover its streets and its people and to enjoy it very special natural and cultural environment.

Easter

Lights, flowers and order are characteristics of the Easter holidays in Cartagena and make it a little more peculiar and different to the celebration in the rest of the Region of Murcia and the rest of Spain. If you spend Easter in Cartagena you will be able to take part in a city which really knows how to celebrate the Easter festivities, festivities which are so exciting they are in the process of being officially declared of international tourist interest. Carthaginians and Romans

A traditional fiesta in Cartagena based on events during the second of the Punic Wars and the figures of General Hannibal and his victor Cornelius Escisión. A fiesta which features major processions in which the streets are full of people in costumes and bearing arms which are worthy of the finest Hollywood productions. The fiesta is held in the second half of September.

Race track

The track measures 3,480 metres in length and follows a technically challenging but fun course, with a standard width of 10 metres rising to 12 metres in the finishing straight. Built to comply with FIM security regulations and approved for international motorcycle races and Spanish car races.

Coast and beaches

Cartagena is a coastal city and is near to magnificent beaches and coastal towns which are great for dining out, walking or just passing the time of day. Manga del Mar Menor is only 20 minutes from our Hotel.

Region of Murcia

Located on the Mediterranean, the region borders Alicante to the east; Granada and Almeria to the west; Albacete to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. In an area of only 11,000 square kilometres there is an enormous variety of natural environments. The Region of Murcia is an area where European and North African influences combine with scenery which is brimming with contrast.
